Our 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
On Thursday 24 April we held our Annual General Meeting at Leeds Marriott Hotel. The AGM was a chance for members to vote on key decisions, like who gets elected or re-elected to our board.
It also gave members the chance to ask questions to our directors about things that matter to them.
Our AGM is key to helping us shape our future, and making sure members are up to date with our performance.
You voted, we donated
Your AGM 2025 votes raised a total of £20,324.40 for the causes we support.
£10,880.40 was donated to Barnardo’s1 and £9,444 to the Foundation2.
That’s because for every vote we received this year, we made a 30p donation to charity.
Members could choose which cause the donation supported – Barnardo’s or Leeds Building Society Foundation. We split the donation equally between the two if members couldn’t decide.
So voting in our AGM helps us support good causes that provide safe and secure places to live for those that need them.
